"It gives me pleasure unspeakable to write about Japinder mam, who has mentored me and drove me towards the success that I have achieved today. It was not an easy task, English was beyond me, unfathomable, but when I started my course, I realized with her guidance English could easily be tamed. With her unique teaching methodology including mnemonics, word roots and some as interesting as relating the words to Hindi movie dialogues, the path towards the perfect vocabulary was paved with perfection. Her jovial nature helped to ask my silliest of the doubts without any inhibitions and make positive developments towards the English required to score good in GRE. I really thank Japinder mam for showing all the faith in me and making me materialize my dreams."

"When I got a 1480 score in the G.R.E, I was elated . I had never expected such a score when I started with my preparation. All my verbal score’s credit goes to Japinder mam. She made learning words seem like a puny task. G.R.E tests not just your vocabulary but also and indeed mainly your analytical ability of reading and comprehending .... before coming to Japinder mam i was extremely paranoid of RCs but after her teaching I was very confident to tackle with them. The subtle nuances she gives with each word made it all the more priceless ... and this I believe is the major advantage which I had while writing my G.R.E. Learning words from Japinder mam was such a memorable experience...she keeps on making you revise the word over and over again, until the word is in your personal dictionary. She is extremely hardworking and zealous about her profession and about her students which was commendable ..and finally I must say she was more of a friend to me than a teacher that made me ask her so many doubts without any shame after the classes and it really helped me a lot. She never backed down for even a single question anytime..I am grateful to her for my G.R.E score and hopefully my graduate school admission ..."

"If there is someone who knows how to make words fun, its Jappi Ma'am.... Her method is unconventional and everyday she would come up with something new to make it easier for us to remember words... Her stories would keep us hooked up to the class while at the same time subconsciously we would learn so much.... The learning went beyond the basic meaning of words, it was rather understanding how these words were formed in the first place.... And once we knew that, guessing the meaning of unfamiliar words wasn't a big deal.... Thanks a lot Ma'am... What you have taught us would stay with us forever."

"I think Japinder maam is a wonderful teacher. She brought a pretty dull subject to life with her innovative teaching techniques. I developed a genuine interest and fondness for learning new words, understanding their roots and finding mnemonics after attending her classes. Even 1 year after attending her classes I remember majority of the words. I really enjoyed the short stories and themes that she used, to make us memorize the words. Etymology was another very effective technique that was used. I would definitely recommend Japinder mam's classes to any GRE aspirant."

"I just have three simple words for Japi "Jungle Ki Sherni". Shocked! Don't be. Get used to it. Because I am just reciprocating what she taught. This world of "Fun English" has transformed the way I look upon words. Her skillful methodology of teaching has made English become "less english" and more of Punjabi, Hindi, pictures, stories etc. I was lucky to have her as a mentor."

"A good teacher helps you succeed in attaining your goal, Japinder Ma’am is most definitely one of the finest teachers that I have come across . I attended her class in Grey Matters , Chandigarh where she taught English for GRE aspirants. She maintained a perfect balance by focusing equally on her students and the material being taught .She always made learning words fun by using different but unique techniques which kept us fascinated but at the same time we learnt a lot. We did not need to cram words to improve our vocabulary instead we used mnemonics . Most notably she paid attention to each individual in class and encouraged us to do better. She adapted to meet our needs whenever we had any difficulty in comprehending a specific topic. She has been a great help and I thank her from the bottom of my heart."

"Redoing something is often a boring and tedious task. Before coming to Grey Matters, I knew quite a few words and had even done some word lists. So, the thought of doing those words again was not very exciting. However, Japinder Ma'am made the task very enjoyable. Plus, there were some words that I always got wrong - like I used to think that 'grotesque' means beautiful or good looking. I finally got them right because of her. I have been fortunate to have received guidance from Japinder Ma’am. Her innovative methods are most involving and actually made us look forward to the classes. She took care to ensure students’ interest in the classes even during the topics like etymology which are generally deemed uninteresting. I wish her all the best for her endeavor and sincerely hope she continues to help students realize their dreams."

She made it so easy for me. She makes you learn difficult words in simple and fun manner. Her way of describing words and relating it to examples is simply awesome. I gained so much knowledge that how to guess meaning of a new word and their origin that you have never even heard of. She pays individual attention and always encourages active participation in the class. I can say she is a perfect mentor and I am really thankful for her teaching and guidance."
